1. About Us

“The Work House” is operated by Synergi Wrkhouse Business Center LLP, with its registered office at 6, The Work House Road, Rambaug Lane 6, Kalyan (West), District Thane, Maharashtra – 421301 (PAN: AFEFS5285C, GSTIN: 27AFEFS5285C1ZV, HSN/SAC: 997212, UAM: MH-33-0416409). References to “we”, “us” and “our” in these terms are to this entity.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Work House coworking space and its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our space or services.

3. Nature of the Relationship

Our plans and bookings grant you a personal right to use the allocated coworking space and shared services. They do not create a landlord–tenant, licensor–licensee, or any other legal relationship between you and us. You may not sub-license, assign, or transfer your right to use the space to any other person.

4. Membership & Access

  • Members must register with accurate personal information and keep their account details up to date.
  • Membership is personal and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Access to the space is permitted only during operating hours (8 AM – 10 PM, Monday – Saturday) unless your plan states otherwise. The premises may be non-operational on national and festive holidays.
  • Night-shift access (9 PM – 7 AM) is offered as flexible seating only and is subject to a minimum 50% occupancy of the business center. Part-time options are limited to 12–15 days of check-in-based access per month.
  • Up to two additional guests may accompany a member for meetings at no charge for up to 2 hours; additional time or additional visitors will be charged at the prevailing day-pass rate.
  • You may not use our address as your official or registered business address without our prior written consent.

5. Term, Lock-in & Renewal

  • Annual plans run for a term of 12 months from the commencement date and include a 90-day lock-in period. Early termination within the lock-in period will attract charges for the balance of the lock-in, which may be deducted from the security deposit.
  • If no communication is received from you regarding renewal or termination, the plan will be deemed renewed at the then-prevailing charges.
  • After the lock-in, either party may terminate by giving 30 days’ written notice.

6. Payments & Billing

  • All fees are due in advance as per the selected plan, on or before the 10th of each month or the date specified on the invoice, whichever is earlier.
  • Published rates are exclusive of 18% GST and any other applicable taxes, which will be charged additionally.
  • Temporary (non-annual) options are offered at a 15% premium over the base annual rate. Rates are for standard shift timings; day/night-shift add-ons are charged extra.
  • One month’s retention deposit is payable for all plan categories (see our Refund Policy).
  • Refunds for unused days within a billing cycle are not provided, except as set out in our Refund Policy.
  • We reserve the right to revise pricing at the time of renewal or with reasonable notice. Payments may be made via online transfer, cheque, or cash.

7. Services Provided

Subject to availability, we provide Wi-Fi / internet access, tea/coffee/water dispenser, access to the meeting room and calling booth (prior booking required), kitchenette access, and on-request services such as printing and courier handling at additional cost. We may revise the services offered and their associated rates from time to time and are not liable where a service is unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Maintain a respectful, quiet, and professional environment.
  • Do not damage, remove, or misuse any property or equipment. Any loss or damage may be deducted from your security deposit.
  • Do not make any alterations to the allocated space, furniture, or fixtures.
  • Do not engage in any illegal, immoral, or otherwise inappropriate activities on the premises or through our Wi-Fi network; you alone are responsible for your use of the network and will indemnify us against any resulting loss or claim.
  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will result in immediate termination of membership.
  • Smoking, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including logos, text, images, and design — is the property of The Work House and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.

10. Liability & Force Majeure

  • Personal belongings, equipment, documents, and property are brought and kept at the premises entirely at your own risk. We do not provide insurance coverage for any such property and are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage however caused.
  • Members use the space and its facilities at their own risk.
  • We are not liable for any interruption, suspension, delay, or unavailability of the premises or services (including internet, electricity, or utilities) arising from events beyond our reasonable control — including acts of God, natural calamities, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, war, civil commotion, strikes, lockouts, governmental actions, or utility failures. During any such event, no alternative facility, refund, compensation, rebate, or extension of services will be provided.

11. Termination

  • After the lock-in period, either party may terminate the arrangement by giving 30 days’ written notice.
  • We may suspend or terminate your membership at any time for breach of these terms or for non-payment of charges, and may exercise a lien over your belongings on the premises for any outstanding dues.
  • On termination, you must vacate the allocated space and return any locker keys, gate keys, or access cards issued to you. Lost keys or cards will be charged to you at replacement cost.

12. Privacy

We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts at the city in which the business center is located shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the arbitration clause below.

Any dispute, difference, or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of our services shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by Synergi Wrkhouse Business Center LLP. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, with the seat and venue at the city of the business center, and the arbitral award shall be final and binding on the parties. Arbitration costs and fees shall be borne by the member, unless the arbitrator directs otherwise. Each party will bear its own costs other than arbitration costs, except that you must pay any reasonable legal fees we incur in enforcing these terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the space after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
