Refund Policy

This policy explains when and how refunds are issued for purchases made at The Work House, including day passes, monthly memberships, and other bookings. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Day Passes
- Day passes are booked for a specific visit date selected at checkout and are valid only for that date.
- Cancellations requested at least 24 hours before the booked visit date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the visit, or no-shows, are non-refundable.
- If you would like to reschedule, contact us at least 24 hours in advance and we will move your pass to another available date at no charge, subject to availability.
2. Monthly Memberships
- Membership fees are charged in advance for the full billing cycle and are exclusive of 18% GST and any other applicable taxes.
- Refunds are not provided for unused days within an active billing cycle.
- You may cancel a membership at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle and future cycles will not be charged.
- Memberships paid upfront for multiple months may be cancelled with written notice; a pro-rated refund will be issued for any full, unused months after deducting the amount for months already used at the standard monthly rate.
3. Annual Plans & 90-Day Lock-in
- Annual plans include a 90-day lock-in period from the commencement date. If you discontinue or terminate your plan before the end of this lock-in, you remain liable for the charges for the balance of the lock-in period along with any consequential damages for early termination.
- After the lock-in, the plan may be terminated by either party with 30 days’ written notice.
- Temporary (non-annual) plans are offered at a 15% premium and have no commitment-fee structure; refunds for them follow the rules for monthly memberships above.
4. Security & Retention Deposit
- A one-month retention / security deposit is payable for all plan categories. It is held by us interest-free for the duration of your plan.
- The deposit will be refunded within 45 days of the termination end date, provided you have vacated the allocated space, returned all keys and access cards, and complied with the post lock-in notice period.
- We may deduct the following from the deposit before refund: charges/fees unpaid at the time of termination, early-exit fees for the balance of the lock-in period, the cost of repair or replacement for any loss or damage to the premises or equipment, and the replacement cost of any lost keys or access cards.
- If the amounts owed exceed the deposit, we reserve the right to recover the balance from you, including by way of a lien over your belongings on the premises until dues are cleared.
5. Service Disruptions & Force Majeure
If access to the space is unavailable for a full day due to reasons within our control, the affected day will be credited to your account or extended on your membership. We are not liable for short or partial interruptions to services such as internet, power, or air conditioning caused by circumstances beyond our control.
In the case of a force majeure event — including acts of God, natural calamities, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, war, civil commotion, strikes, lockouts, governmental action, or utility failure — no alternative facility, refund, compensation, rebate, or extension of services will be provided, and our obligations will remain suspended to the extent affected. In the event of temporary or permanent closure of the business at our premises for reasons beyond our control, we are not obliged to refund amounts already received.
6. Termination by The Work House
If your membership is terminated by us for a breach of our Terms & Conditions, fees already paid for the current cycle are non-refundable, and any unpaid charges (including lock-in dues) may be deducted from the security deposit before refund.
7. How to Request a Refund
- Send your refund request through the contact section of our website, including the name used for the booking, the date of purchase, and a brief reason.
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and confirm whether it qualifies under this policy.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase.
